We're pleased to announce that Chris Bartlett has been appointed Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Head of Verizon Ventures. Starting today, he assumes responsibility for all of Verizon’s joint ventures, strategic investment activity, acquisitions and divestitures.
Chris previously served as a managing director at Morgan Stanley, where he led North American media and communications mergers and acquisitions for fourteen years. Before that, he worked at Bear, Stearns & Co. and at Arthur Andersen.
Chris will replace John Doherty, who left Verizon at the end of June to pursue other opportunities, and will be based in Basking Ridge. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
